Keeping this guide honest

This guide only covers what's actually shipped, not what's planned — check your copy of Core's own CHANGELOG.md for anything more recent than what's described here. If you find a section here that doesn't match what the code actually does, that's a real bug in this guide, not a version-skew issue you should quietly work around — report it the same way you'd report any other bug in Core.

For Core's own maintainers: this file is reviewed as part of every release, not written once and left to drift — see x-lifestyle-core's own CLAUDE.md for the standing rule (in short: any change to a documented BMFT.* function or macro's signature or behavior updates this guide in the same commit, and every release checklist includes a pass confirming this file still matches CHANGELOG.md's "Unreleased" entries before they're folded into a tagged version). Keep new sections filed under the right one of "Released features"/"Testing features" above as a flag's state changes, not left under whichever one it started in.
